National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the electricity charges by Rs. 4.34 per unit again for one month. NEPRA announced this decision today on account of fuel price adjustment for the month of August. According to the authority, Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) demanded for Rs. 4.70 per unit rise.

Notification for the increase in electricity charges for one month by Rs.4.34 per unit shall be issued later.
