NEPRA has recently increased the electricity by Rs 8 during the last days of August 22. You can read more about it here.
However, during the budget committee held on 08 June 22, NEPRA has again increased the price by Rs 6.48. Finance Minister Mufta Ismail in a recently held press conference said that IMF has argued about prices hike in Petroleum and other life using items.

Conclusion
Petroleum and electricity hike may be seen in future also due to the economic pressure on Pakistan. Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef may give subsidy sooner.
